There are several golf courses in the Bergerac area. Visitors to the region often fly into Bergerac airport, pass a day or two at one of the local golf courses, staying in accommodation at the course itself, to make a perfect short break.

Golf courses in the vicinity of Bergerac airport include:

One of the most popular is the 'Villeneuve-sur-Lot Golf and Country Club'. Previously knows as Castenaud golf club, the club is set in the northern part of Lot-et-Garonne, between Bergerac and Villeneuve sur Lot. The golf club also offers a highly recommended restaurant, and accommodation in apartments on site, so is very popular with people flying in to Bergerac and spending a weekend or a few days playing golf in the south-west of France.

Another highly reputed golf course within easy reach of Bergerac is at Chateau des Vigiers, Monestier. The chateau itself is the highlight of the club, which has a course which also passes woodland, fruit trees and vines. Accommodation is in guest rooms in the Chateau and an adjoining building, and there are two fine restaurants.
